Your why is a great way to build your stamina for a long career. You’ll feel inspired and motivated when you work in alignment with your values.
My personal experience is an excellent example. My 18-year career in advertising was a rewarding experience. While I had many interesting experiences in advertising, it was only when I was offered a job in recruitment that I realized what my “why” was.
Since then, my career has been focused on the value that I can add to others’ lives. Amazing results are possible when you understand your “why”.

List your goals and ideas for how to achieve them. I have an ongoing PR campaign to promote myself to achieve my goal of ‘profile raising. I have already appeared on RTE and given three keynote presentations at different events. As I go about my daily life, I always look for opportunities.
